Name of Physician:	Sharon Colton MD

Diagnosis/Symptom:	pain, (bursitis) posterior left hip

Age and Sex of Patient:	

Current Medications:	Lodine, tramadol, occ Lortab

Tounge & Pulse:	

Response to previous therapies:	Little or no response to physical therapy, chiropractic, steroid injections.
surgery not good option
Meds help some.

Brief Medical History:	Pt has suffered with pain in her left posterior hip about 10 years, no previous trauma.  It was diagnosed as bursitis and there is a tender area in her posterior hip just superior to the actual joint.  So far not responding well. Currently trying Jue Yin, Shao Yang for main treatment then local points with MOXA  as local treatment.  Area of concern seemed to be in gallbladder distrubution.

Questions or Comments on the Case:	

She is Tai Yin earth type.
Other than this pain, pretty healthy.
 May need to design treatment in Tai Yin/ Shao yang?   Other ideas?
